Modernism in the Tropics

OiMê builds a bridge between the legacy of Brazilian modernist design and the tropical identity of Central America and the Caribbean. Woods, natural fibers, and leathers find a perfect home here – where architecture, light, and the tropical rhythm enhance the authenticity of each piece.

Behind OiMê is Thiago Santos, a Brazilian based in Panama with a deep passion for modernist design. The studio was born from his desire to share this unique heritage beyond Brazil – through pieces that reflect identity, warmth, and the beauty of timeless forms.
